The Fair Grove Alumni Association is committed to supporting Fair Grove students with higher education scholarships.
The 2026 Randy Johnson Fair Grove Alumni Scholarship Recipients Are:
Stephanie Raper
During her high school career, Stephanie Raper was a four-year member of the FFA, the Pep Club, and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). She has also been a member of the Art Club and the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Outside of school, Stephanie was very active in competitive dancing. She maintained a GPA of 3.4 and also had very good attendance throughout high school. Stephanie plans to attend OTC and pursue a degree in medical sonography. She says she was honored and excited to receive the Randy Johnson Fair Grove Alumni Association Scholarship, and plans to use it for expenses related to college. She adds that being part of the Fair Grove community means a lot to her, and she looks forward to representing it in the future.
Lexy DeFreece
Lexy DeFreece was active in FFA all four years of high school. She has also been a member of the Art Club, the National Honor Society, the National Society of High School Scholars, and the soccer team. During her senior year she was very involved in digital communications and was responsible for creating and managing content displayed at home volleyball and basketball events. Lexy also participated in extensive volunteer work. Displaying a passion for art, Lexy completed numerous art projects that showcased her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to express herself thoughtfully. Lexy maintained a 3.6 GPA during high school, and she had an excellent attendance record. She plans to go to OTC and study art and design.
Giuliana Kandlbinder
Giuliäna Kandlbinder was a member of the marching band and the soccer team all four years of high school. This past year, she was a senior drum major for the marching band. Giuliäna has also been a member of the pep band three years and the jazz band one year. She maintained a 3.5 GPA and near-perfect attendance throughout her high school career, while also working part time and volunteering at the Webster County Food Pantry. Giuliäna plans to attend the Academy of Hair Design to become an esthetician.
Jackson Austin
Jackson Austin was a member of the football team throughout his time at Fair Grove High School, and he credits his football experience with teaching him discipline, resilience, and the importance of teamwork. Jackson has also been a member of FFA, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Pep Club, and DECA, a high school business and entrepreneurship club. He feels that each of these organizations has contributed to his personal growth and reinforced his desire to lead. Jackson maintained a 3.0 GPA in high school. His post-high school plans are still in flux, but he is thinking about joining the military.
